VisitShetland is pleased to announce their 4th annual Photographic Competition. The competition is open to resident and visiting amateur photographers. We are looking for unique and inspiring images that capture your imagination and record a moment in time.

We want you to capture images of the significant role Shetland landscapes play in our cultural identity today. Consider the passing of time; the effects of seasonal and climatic change and the influence of social or political issues.

Photographs must be taken in Shetland between 1st June and 30th October 2008. Entrants are asked to upload images via our entry form.  Images entered into the competition will be displayed on the VisitShetland online image gallery. The limit of photographs submitted is one and the organisers ask that all photos are accompanied by a brief description or a short story about the photograph.
